Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico to pay official visit to Belarus

New features in the relations between Belarus and the European Union will be discussed on November 25 in Minsk during the official visit of the Slovakia Prime Minister. Robert Fico will meet with the leadership of our country, as well as take part in the opening of a new Office of the Slovak Embassy in Minsk.

The premier is also scheduled to visit Vitebsk, where a Slovak pharmaceutical company operates.

Robert Fico became chairman of the government of Slovakia in April 2012, when his party "Direction - Social Democracy" won the parliamentary elections.

This will be one of the most important visits of a representative of the European Union to Belarus in recent years. Earlier this week, Belarus was visited by a high-ranking delegation of EU officials led by Chairman of the Political and Security Committee of the Council of the European Union.
