A party with the quadrille, ballet with rapiers and a play about Akhmatova's love. The International Festival of Modern Choreography kicks off in Vitebsk November 23.
Taking part in the festival are leading dance groups from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, France, Sweden, Norway, China and other countries.
The forum's program includes world hits and high-profile premieres. Among them is the ballet Giselle staged by the famous Ukrainian choreographer Radu Poklitaru.
During the festival, in addition to theatrical performances, the audience can also enjoy creative meetings and dance performances.
