During a press conference with Russian journalists, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko announced that he is going to meet with the Russian President Vladimir Putin on November 22.
As expected, the leaders will meet in Moscow. Ambassador of Russia to Belarus Alexander Surikov has commented on the possible agenda.
Alexander Surikov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Belarus:
I think, first of all, the two leaders will discuss political topics, given a little bit of changing circumstances in the world (or possible changes). Economic conversations, which we have heard a lot about in recent time, like the oil and gas issues, will not be the main topic of this meeting. But perhaps, the Presidents will touch on it too.
