Georgia wins Junior Eurovision 2016, Belarus 7th

The Junior Eurovision 2016 is now over, with Georgia winning the grand prix. The representative of Belarus Alexander Minenok, with the song "Music of my victories", took 7th place.

The audience of the Mediterranean Conference Centre were amazed by the 13-year-old Belarusian's pop song. This year, the song contest was held in Malta's capital Valletta.

Unfortunately, this time, Belarus, two-time winner of the Junior Eurovision, did not win. Victory went to the smallest contestant this year, with the loudest vocal - 10-year-old Mariam Mamadashvili from Georgia. Her song won the hearts of the European jury.

By the way, it was only the jury, not the audience, who decided on the winner. Decisions were taken by national juries, composed of professionals and children. Taking part in Junior Eurovision 2016 were 17 nations.
