The interaction of Belarus and the EU was discussed at the Foreign Ministry of Belarus on November 16. The Foreign Minister met with the Managing Director for Europe and Central Asia in the European External Action Service, Thomas Mayr-Harting.
He led a delegation that arrived in Minsk to take part in the second meeting of the coordinating group of Belarus and the EU. The focus of the participants will be on the priorities of bilateral partnerships, cooperation in the framework of the Eastern Partnership.
The first meeting of the Coordination Group of the EU-Belarus took place last spring in Brussels. It is expected that such meetings will take place in the future twice a year to review cooperation between the EU and Belarus in all spheres and to agree on further steps.
