EEU prime ministers agree on Customs Code November 16

The prime ministers of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union on 16 November agreed on a draft of the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).

The meeting of the Intergovernmental Council was held in Gorki near Moscow.

The heads of government of Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Belarus did come to a common denominator. Prior to that, five such meetings were held, with the latter taking place in Minsk.

The final version of the document takes into account all the remarks of the Belarusian side. It is planned that the Customs Code of the EEU will be signed by the presidents at the summit in December.
