Poland celebrates Independence Day on November 11.

The country regained its freedom on 11 November 1918, when WWI ended - after 125 years of being under other states' rule.

Independence Day is a public holiday in Poland. It is marked by a military parade in the center of Warsaw. Celebrations, concerts and festivities are underway in all cities of the country.

President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko congratulated President of Poland Andrzej Duda and the people of that country on the national holiday.
