Alexander Yaroshenko, Deputy Minister of Economy of Belarus:
The Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region is a large region that occupies 1/6 of China. It is seen, both by China and by Belarus, as one of the key platforms of the Silk Road. We see perspectives of the cooperation with China.
He Yiming, Head of the Department of Commerce of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region:
Such delegation arrives in Belarus for the second time. It consists of more than 60 representatives of 50 companies. Today, we pay a lot of attention to the development of the cooperation with Belarus. Your governmental delegation has been to our region 5 times. We can cooperate not only in the sphere of trade but in other spheres too. Thus, we plan to visit some of the Belarusian enterprises.
