Belarus takes part in the summit of Heads of Government of Central and Eastern Europe and China 16+1 that is held in Riga.
Belarus participates in the summit as an observer.
Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov arrived in Latvia on a working visit. The format of the meeting is initiated by China for the fifths time. Participants of the summit will discuss the cooperation of countries in spheres of investments, transportation, finance, science, education and culture.
The majority of countries are interested in the logistic potential of Belarus.
During the summit, the Belarusian Prime Minister had a number of bilateral meetings. He held talks with Premier of the State Council of China Li Keqiang and Prime Minister of Latvia Māris Kučinskis. The parties discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation.
