It is encouraging that for the first time in 20 years birth rate in Belarus has exceeded mortality. This was made possible by a complex sequential public policy actions. The natural increase in the first 9 months of 2016 alone is observed in 85 of 113 cities as well as in every third urban settlement. During the first 9 months, almost 90,000 kids were born in Belarus. It's 500 more than in the same period in 2015. Most of them are second and subsequent children.
