Aliaksandra Herasimenia gives master class to students of her own swimming school

Bronze medalist of the 2016 Olympics Aliaksandra Herasimenia gave a master class to young swimmers. The Belarusian athlete shared her secrets with young students of her own swimming school. Aliaksandra was trying to inspire children with her passion for swimming. As the athlete admits, she can’t imagine her life without water and a swimming pool.

Aliaksandra Herasimenia, bronze medalist of the 2016 Olympics in swimming:
I always try to speak from my heart, because it’s impossible to plan and make up a speech. For me it’s easier to communicate face to face, when I see interest in the eyes. I understand that’s what is expected from me.

For many hours, Herasimenia was answering children’s questions, giving autographs, and sharing her secrets of success in swimming. The athlete realizes that not everybody will become professional athletes. However, she thinks it’s her duty to inspire them, and she gets the inspiration from them.

Aliaksandra Herasimenia, bronze medalist of the 2016 Olympics in swimming:
I find inspiration in my sports club, I see all these children and their interest. I know I can help them and it gives me a further impetus, and strength. I’m glad that I can combine it now when the Olympics are over. I can breathe. It won’t disturb me, I’m sure.
