Belarus leader meets with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan

Possible joint projects and investment cooperation between Belarus and the United Arab Emirates were discussed October 31 in the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The President of Belarus met with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.

The country has rich deposits of oil and gas. Revenues from sales of "black gold" and "blue fuel" have brought that country to one of the first places in the world. The UAE can afford to not only spend $3,000 a year for irrigation of a single tree in arid climate, but also produce several thousand tons of artificial snow to ski from a 400-meter snow mountains.

I think if you had a little more rain and snow, you would become multi-rich.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Crown Prince of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces:
Mr. President, believe me, we are working on it. For the last 20 years we've been developing the appropriate technology. We have even established a special prize for the best ecological project.

The main topics of the talks are the financial and economic cooperation, mutual investments, strategic projects in logistics and high-tech industries. Belarus' cooperation with the UAE is characterized by stable dynamism of contacts, including at the highest and high levels. Belarus attaches strategic importance to the development of relations with the Emirates.
