New evidence packaging presented in Belarus

New packaging for material evidence has been presented in Minsk. They are able to ensure the preservation of evidence for a long time. The packing is made in Minsk of a special plastic film and complemented with means of protection against unauthorized opening.

Forensic experts of the Investigative Committee will soon start using these new developments. It's been reported that colleagues from Russia are already interested in the Belarusian development and are willing to buy the technology.

Vladimir Shishko, Head of Forensic Department of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus:
This is a very important element of an investigation. The basis of the evidence is the material evidence and, consequently, on their basis we can build a line in a criminal case. It can be a line in which we blame a person or, on the contrary, are trying to prove that he was innocent.
