A CSTO summit will be held on October 14 in Yerevan. Taking part in it will be the Belarus President. Alexander Lukashenko will present the position of our country on the priority areas during the presidency of Belarus in this organization. Until today, Armenia has been holding the chairmanship.
The participants will also exchange views on the international situation, will consider topical issues of collective security and counter-terrorism. Following the session, more than 20 documents are expected to be signed.
It is expected that the heads of state will decide on the candidature for the post of Secretary General of the CSTO. It will be the representative of Armenia.
Belarus, Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are members of the Organization of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
