Belarusian-Polish cooperation to be discussed in Warsaw October 10

Belarusian-Polish cooperation will be discussed on October 10 in Warsaw. Belarus will be represented by the foreign minister. Vladimir Makei is set to meet with his Polish counterpart, as well as other representatives of the Polish leadership.

In recent years, the countries have intensified their political and economic dialogue significantly. In 2016 alone, Belarus was visited by numerous delegations of ministries and departments; inter-parliamentary cooperation was renewed. Moreover, Belarus and Poland's intergovernmental commissions are working intensively.

In the first six months of 2016 the trade turnover amounted to more than $1.3 billion. Compared to the same period in 2015 the figure has risen.
