Belarusian and Estonian delegations met in Minsk on October 3.

A delegation from the Tallinn district of Lasnamäe is on a four-day visit to Minsk.

In particular, for Partyzansky distict, this is a new partner in trade and economic and cultural relations. In turn,

Estonian colleagues are interested in drawing on Belarusian experience in the industrial sector, inbound medical tourism and cooperation in the sphere of housing and communal services.

Maria Yufereva, head of the Lasnamäe district, Tallinn (Republic of Estonia):
Our region traditionally maintains good neighborly relations with other regions of the states and cities. Therefore for us friendship with the Patrizansky district of Minsk is only the start.

Days of Estonia in Minsk will be held in early November.

This is a good time not only to learn the culture of another country, but also to make new contacts. As part of a special agreement on long-term cooperation experts from both capitals are going to exchange experience and attract investment.

This important document was signed by the two parties as a result of agreements at the beginning of August 2016.

A Minsk delegation will go to the biggest district of Tallinn later this month.

Merike Kokajev, Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Belarus:
I believe that there is a great prospect for cooperation in the field of culture. For example, Days of Estonian culture will be held in Minsk in early November. We plan a big concert, an exhibition. We're going to bring here a delegation of businessmen to organize various seminars and meetings.
