Belarus and China have achieved a high degree of trust in their relations, said President Alexander Lukashenko September 29 meeting with the Chairman of the Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Yu Zhengsheng.
These days Alexander Lukashenko is in Beijing for a state visit.
Today, the two countries appreciate the prevailing high level of cooperation. China is one of the most important trade and economic partners of Belarus. The PRC is the largest trade partner of Minsk among the countries outside the CIS. And this state visit will give a powerful impetus to the further development of Chinese-Belarusian strategic partnership.
Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus:
I am pleased to meet you because you represent an organization that is a reflection of moods and ideas in this great China, in this vast country. I know that the most experienced and honored people are working with you. And it gives weight to your organization. Over the last 2.5 decades of relations with China, we have reached the degree of confidence in our dialogue and relations in general. The PRC probably does not have a higher degree of relations with anyone, which we appreciate.
At this moment, negotiations are underway between the leaders of Belarus and China. During the dialogue, Alexander Lukashenko thanked Xi Jinping for his significant personal contribution to the development of the Belarusian-Chinese relations, noting that the summit has already become a good tradition.
