Residential compound near Belarus’ embassy opens in Kiev

A residential compound near the Belarusian embassy opened in Kiev.

The opening ceremony was attended by Vladimir Makei, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus. Vladimir Makei mentioned that this new compound shows the intention to continue the collaboration between Kiev and Minsk.

“There aren’t any unsolved problems between our countries”, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

Moreover, he added that Belarus would participate in the resolution of the conflict in the Donbass.

Valdimir Makei, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus:
Ukraine is seeking to have more close relations with the EU. Belarus also wants to have good relations with the EU, but we are the member of the Eurasian Economic Union. Most importantly, we have to understand that this fact cannot influence our bilateral cooperation with Ukraine in all fields in any way. On the contrary, we have to find new opportunities to make this cooperation more comprehensive. We need to make this cooperation beneficial for the states, for the people of the states and for each person living in Ukraine and Belarus.
