Belarus national football team gets kits with national pattern

August 9, the updated kits of the national football team of Belarus was presented. The event was held in one of the Silver Screen cinemas.

Many of those present, including the players themselves, noted that the new kits are very stylish. Their peculiarity is in the national ornament.

Acting as models were some of the players from the national team: Alexander Hleb, Nikolai Signevich, Nikolay Yanush, Denis Polyakov, Nikita Korzun, Igor Stasevich and goalkeeper Andrei Klimovich.

Chairman of the association "Belarusian Football Federation" Sergei Rumas said it was necessary to approve the project in the UEFA before adding new elements to the official kits. In particular, it is impossible to have any advertising, that is, Belarus needed to prove that this step was purely a tribute to the national folk traditions.

NAVI band presented the new song called "Forward, the White-Winged", which is now the official anthem of our football team. Also, the new team mascot Vayar (Warrior) was presented.

At the end of August, the team of manager Alexander Khatskevich will appear in a new kit during the friendly match against Norway in Oslo.

Belarusian fans will be able to see the new kits when Belarus will host France as part of the World Cup 2018 qualification. It will take place on September 6 at Borisov Arena.
