President inspects harvesting in Minsk and Vitebsk regions from helicopter

Alexander Lukashenko inspected the efforts of rural workers on August 3 from a helicopter, said the press secretary of the head of state.

The Minsk region has overcame a 1 million ton mark in grain harvesting. More than half of the areas has been cropped.

It is not surprising that the head of state paid special attention to the central region. Alexander Lukashenko inspected the north-western regions: Miadziel, Vileika, partially Maladziachna and Lahoisk.

These regions have always been considered among the most complex in agricultural terms.

However, lately, there have been successes there: previously unused lands have been put into use and land reclamation efforts have been carried out.

The President also inspected fields in the western part of the Vitebsk region. The northern region has cropped harvest on a fifth of agricultural areas.

Also on that day, the head of state visited the Braslav branch of Glubokoye Dairy-Canning Plant and one of the tourist companies in the region.
