The football teams of Belarus and Norway on August 31 will hold a friendly match in Oslo, the Belarusian Football Federation reports.
Previously, Belarus and Norway met each other six times, with Belarus winning only once, two draws and three Norway's wins. In the July FIFA rankings, the Norwegian team took 49th place, while Belarusians are 72nd.
For manager Alexander Khatskevich's team the match with Norway will be the last test before the start of the FIFA World Cup 2018 qualifying campaign. Belarus host France in the first qualifying round in Group A on September 6 at Borisov Arena. France are vice champions of Europe now.
Besides France, Belarusians will take on the national teams of Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Sweden and Luxemburg during the qualifying campaign.
