Nearly 2.5 million Belarusians today suffer from cardiovascular diseases. This is more than 25% of the total population. Cardiovascular diseases are the most common cause of death not only in Belarus.
This trend is observed worldwide. Every year, these illnesses kill more than 17 million people. In this regard, the country's acute problem of prevention of cardiovascular disease.

I see only a comprehensive approach: it is necessary to extirpate from people's mind that positive character with a cigarette in his mouth, like in movies or videos. When the person is born we already need to instill in him or her that idea of a healthy lifestyle. Hence, the role of teachers, the role of science is to constantly show a negative role of risk factors in the development of cardiovascular diseases.
