Belarus premier visits Belarusian-Chinese BelGee plant

The Prime Minister of Belarus considers it necessary to create modern car sales centers in the country. Andrei Kobyakov raised this topic inspecting one of the largest investment projects in the field of mechanical engineering.

The construction of a new auto plant is now underway in the Borisov district. A facility for the production of Belarusian-Chinese cars is set to open by the end of 2016.

The head of government not only assessed the infrastructure and technological capabilities, but also personally tested one of the models.

The company plans to annually produce 60,000 cars.

Andrei Kobyakov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus:
I had to criticize the current top management. And, above all, this criticism touched on the domestic market. This is because it turned out that they used old sites when creating sales and service centers. And we're in the 21st century! Look along the ring road around Minsk and you will see auto centers of world famous brands. It is pleasant to just enter them and look around even if you are not going to buy anything. We need to trade in this product no worse than any western or eastern brand.

The analysis of the work of one of Belarus' largest manufacturers of medicinal products has shown that in a few years, its output can go up 1.5 times. It can develop new markets and expand the product range.
