The Irish Club Dundalk will for a second time be the rivals of FC BATE Borisov in Champions League qualification.
In the second qualifying round, the Irish champions twice drew against the Icelandic club Hafnarfjordur 1:1 (home) and 2:2 (away) and entered the third qualifying round thanks to the higher aggregate number of away goals. The Borisov club beat Finnish Seinäjoki 2:0 (home) and drew 2:2 (away).
In 2015, BATE and Dundalk met in the 2nd qualifying round and the Borisov team won 2:1 (home, watch the video) and 0:0 (away).
The first match will take place in Borisov on 26 July at Borisov Arena (beginning at 21.00). The return match will be held in Dundalk on August 2 (22.00).
Tonight three Belarusian clubs will play return legs of the 2nd qualifying round of the Europa League. Torpedo-BelAZ host Hungarian Debreceni after beating them away 2:1.
Soligorsk's Shakhtyor will play against Slovenian Domžale, while Dinamo Minsk take on St Patrick's in Dublin. Both Belarusian clubs drew their first-leg home games 1:1.
