Belarusian Tatiana Kholodovich wins javelin gold at Monaco Diamond League

The Belarusian javelin thrower Tatiana Kholodovich, who became a European champion and set a national record a week ago, again attracted the attention of sports journalists thanks to her another outstanding achievement.

The Pinsk native was equal to none at the ninth stage of the Diamond League in Monaco. Tatiana's best attempt here was 70cm shorter than the result at the European Championships. Still she enjoyed a solid advantage over Kathryn Mitchell of Australia, who became second.

The Czech Republic's Barbora Špotáková lost to the Belarusian over two meters and took bronze.
