Belarusian Foreign Ministry recommends citizens to temporarily refrain from traveling to Turkey

The Embassy of Belarus in Turkey and the Belarusian Foreign Ministry recommend Belarusians to refrain from planned trips to Turkey until the situation is stabilized.

Those who are in Turkey at this moment need to avoid mass gatherings.

Dmitry Znachenok, Consul of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Turkey:
We recommended Belarusians stay where they are. If they live here, in Turkey, in apartments, they need to just stay home, if they live at hotels, simply don't leave them. Hotlines are open at embassies in Istanbul and Ankara. Our citizens are calling and clarifying the situation.

The hotline in the Belarusian Embassy in Ankara and the Consulate General in Istanbul is working around the clock.

Belarus' Embassy in Ankara:
+ 903-12-441-67-69
+ 905-30-499-25-35 (mob.)

Consulate in Istanbul:
+ 905-317-19-11-17
