The Belarusian airline Belavia has no plans to cancel flights to Nice, where the terrorist attack took place on the night from 14 to 15 July.
"Today we are preparing a flight to Paris and tomorrow to Nice. Airports are open, we are monitoring the situation. If there are any changes, we will inform you," said the press service of the airline.
Now Belavia carries out flights to Nice three times a week: Wednesdays and Saturdays (departure from Minsk at 8.30), as well as Sundays (departure at 12.10).
More than 150 people were injured in the terrorist attack in Nice on Bastille Day, 84 were killed. A truck drove into a crowd of thousands of people and shot at them. Soon, the driver was killed by police, who later found in the car explosives and weapons which the man was prepared to use. The man was French but had Tunisian origin.
Belarus has condemned the attack.
