"As a result of this heinous crime, about 80 people died and more than a hundred wounded, among them many children. Particularly cynical is the fact that the inhuman act of terrorism happened on the day when the French people was celebrating their national holiday. The Belarusian side strongly condemns all acts of terrorism and believes that acts of violence against civilian population, which number has recently increased, cannot be justified and must not be left without consolidated and decisive reaction of the international community," reads the MFA statement.

The Belarusian side expresses condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to those injured.

According to the Belarusian MFA, there is no information about the fact that anyone affected by the terrorist attack is from Belarus. The Embassy of Belarus in France continues to monitor the situation.
