Belarus to support traditional family values at UN GA

Support to the traditional family is an initiative that Belarus intends to discuss at a meeting of the UN General Assembly July 12. Representatives of different countries will gather in New York to discuss approaches to human rights.

In particular, the meeting participants will touch upon the implementation of the sustainable development program of the United Nations until 2030. The international community's action plan for the next 15 years was approved at the seventieth session of the UN General Assembly.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko back then spoke at the largest summit in the last decade, which brought together a record number of participants.

The implementation of goals aimed at eradicating poverty, the preservation of the planet's resources and the well-being of everyone are the problems which all countries would like to address today.
