NATO to deploy battalions in Baltic countries, Poland

The largest NATO Summit in history completed in Warsaw. During two days, the presidents, heads of government and ministers discussed strategies for the future.

It seems that the most resonant outcome of the negotiations is a decision to deploy one battalion of the alliance in each Baltic country as well as in Poland.

The main countries that provide troops for it will be the USA, Germany, the UK and Canada. The NATO leaders also discussed the fate of Afghanistan. The financing of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic will continue until 2020.
