Belarus-EU trade rises tenfold over 10 years

New recipes to strengthen positions on traditional markets and the development of new ones are being discussed today in Minsk by heads of all diplomatic missions and consular establishments of Belarus.

Belarus has diplomatic relations with 174 countries in the world. In 56 of them, Belarus opened embassies, which represent the interests of the republic. The heads of these embassies are today in Minsk to discuss basic directions of activities of Belarusian missions abroad in modern conditions.

Belarus-EU trade has increased tenfold over the last ten years.

Other regions of the world, however, are also promising for Belarus' goods.

Andrei Molchan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Republic of South Africa:
Africa, southern African regions are very promising and interesting for the Republic of Belarus. The fact is that many needs of the countries of that region are in line with our capabilities. Take, for instance, Belarusian equipment and machinery such as tractors or special road construction equipment.

Pavel Latushko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the French Republic:
In relations with France, we are implementing a number of parallel tracks. Of course, the priority is economy. And a month ago, Paris hosted one of the largest Belarusian-French business forums, which brought together more than 110 businessmen.
The next track is, of course, the humanitarian track, cultural cooperation. A lot of cultural events have been happening in France. We are doing this to promote Belarus in the world.
Yet another track is inter-regional cooperation.
