Belarus' trade unions analyze issues raised during 5th All-Belarusian National Assembly

More than 300 trade union members discussed job saving, labor laws and improvement of working conditions in Minsk June 29. The Federation of Trade Unions raised all these issues at the fifth All-Belarusian People's Assembly.

Now the main task of trade unions is to bring the key points of the development strategy of the country to every Belarusian. The Federation will also work out a clear algorithm according to which the federation will be working in the next five years.

Mikhail Orda, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus:
For trade unions it is very important that the program aims to develop enterprises and modernize them. And for us it is very important that enterprises work well, steadily, consistently and efficiently, so there are salaries, and the welfare of people improves. This is something trade unions have always advocated.
