The name of the composer Sergey Kortes will be forever inscribed in the history. Even during his lifetime, he was recognized as a classic person for Belarusian music. He authored many great works: it is thanks to him that the whole world learned about Belarusian opera. His famous "Giordano Bruno" and "Mother Courage" deserved ovations in theaters in many European capitals.

The memorial ceremony for Rostislav Yankovsky was held on the stage of the National Academic Drama Theater named after Maxim Gorky, where the actor served the viewers almost half a century.

Alexander Karpov, director:
This is an actor, he has always remained an actor. He lived on stage until his last moment and he actually died almost on stage. He did not miss a season and was really People's Artist, not by title, but by recognition of people. As Stanislavski said: "I believe you!". I admire him.
