Information minister: We need to go on building new Belarus

Ms Ananich, hello! We are pleased to welcome you. I watched for you from this balcony before the beginning of this meeting, and probably 20 or 30 people came to you and you talked with everyone. It seems that you have enough "backstage talks" here.

Lilia Ananich, delegate of the 5th All-Belarusian People's Assembly, the Minister of Information of the Republic of Belarus:
This is the feature and the scope of our joint professional field - information. Because today information permeates all vital functions of society and what is now on air is something Belarus wants to tell the whole world. So, of course, it's very important to hear the delegates, to hear workers, representatives of the agricultural sector, people of science, culture and business. Today, we are checking whether we are on the same page when it comes to the vector of development for the next five years. Therefore, all that is said here is very important. And our leader's report is, as always, strong, honest, and lively.

Your field, information sphere, has one of the most important tasks - to keep eyes open in the information war, which from time to time becomes aggravated.

Lilia Ananich:
This is just what the President said. Vigorously, persistently and effectively. Persistently does not mean that you need to talk aggressively every day. This means to reach to the bottom line, to see realistically what is happening in the economy in all areas, to convince and show. Show based on the best examples. We need to go on building our new Belarus, to win everywhere.
