2016 Festival of National Cultures takes place in Belarus' Grodno

Grodno, the famous city on the Neman River, last weekend hosted the festival of national cultures. About 40 nationalities who live in different parts of Belarus took part in the event, including Armenians, Kazakhs, Georgians, Poles, Ukrainians, Americans, Venezuelans and Greeks. They brought to Grodno the most famous peculiarities of their cultures.

Traditionally, the festival kicked off with a colorful parade of nations. This year, it had some theatrical features. The participants wore authentic costumes, played national instruments and of course sang songs in native language.
