Belarus raises duties on oil and oil products exported outside EEU

In June, Belarus will earn more from oil exports. Including thansk to increase in the total cost of raw materials.

From June 1, Belarus will raise duties on oil and oil products exported outside the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). Product petrol price will rise by almost $9 per ton, while crude oil by more than $14.

Provided that the average volume of exports per month will be 135,000 tons in June, the budget will receive nearly $2 million in addition. Fuel prices at Belarusian gas stations are to remain unchanged.

Vadim Iosub, senior analyst of the company Alpari:
This year's budget provides for $1.1 billion of export revenues from oil products. Higher oil prices and, consequently, increase in these fees will allow getting closer to the parameters provided in the budget.
