Legendary T-34 and the new generation of machines will feature at the Independence Day parade, due on July 3, 2016.
Armored vehicles, self-propelled weapons and multiple rocket launchers: all in all, about 160 units will partake in the parade. All the machines for the parade are prepared at the military airfield Lipki.
Tanks will head the mechanized line, including the legendary T-34 and powerful IS-2. Each machine has its own history. The 160-unit line will stretch over almost 2km.
All in all, there are 16 scheduled rehearsals. In connection with them, traffic on some streets will be restricted, on Tuesdays at 5.30am and on Thursdays after 8pm. The restrictions apply to vulica Zasnavaĺnikaŭ, vulica Starynaŭskaja, vulica Skaryny and an outer section of the Minsk Ring Road in the East of Minsk.

Training will be carried out weekly, three days a week: on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. To minimize inconvenience to residents and road transport the machines will leave for rehearsals in the morning from 5.30am to 6.30am. The return is scheduled for 8pm.
The major rehearsals are planned for 25 and 28 June. The legendary machinery and the newest samples of Belarus’ military equipment will go along praspiekt Mašerava, accompanied by soldiers of the Minsk garrison and the guard of honor.
