Turkmenistan embassy opens in Minsk

A complex of buildings of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Belarus opened in Minsk on 12 May. Taking part in the ceremony were presidents Alexander Lukashenko and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

At all stages, maximum attention was given to the construction of the complex, said the Belarusian President. This can be said about the setting of appropriate tax incentives, infrastructure and the improvement of the adjacent territory.

In 2014, the two presidents laid a capsule to descendants in the foundation of the future complex, thus consolidating the friendship and mutual understanding between the two countries.

Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus:
I am sure that the embassy will be, like Mr President has just said, the center of gravity of the Belarusian-Turkmen cooperation. The diplomats who will work in this complex will make a significant contribution to the strengthening of the sincere friendship between our peoples and business partnership between states.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan:
The work of the embassy of Turkmenistan in Minsk was designed to meet the high level of relations between the two states, that is, to personalize respect and constructiveness.
