Chinese TV channel may start broadcasting in Belarus

Belarus and China are building an information bridge strengthening cooperation in the field of mass media. The corresponding agreement is going to be signed between the Belarusian Union of Journalists and the All-China Association of Journalists.

Both sides have ambitious plans in this field. Of course, this means reciprocal internships, exchange of experience and joint projects. Moreover, Belarus does not exclude that China may start the broadcasting of one of its channels.

Zhu Shouchen, Executive Secretary of All-China Journalists Association:
Now we see a rapid development of relations between China and Belarus. I think media in our countries will be closer connected in the future. This will also be thanks to the memorandum we plan to sign. In addition, we will continue exchange of delegations.

Anatoly Lemeshonok, chairman of the Belarusian Union of Journalists:
We really have very extensive contacts and economic and cultural ties with the Chinese. Therefore, it is natural that we do find some points of contact and find mutual inspiration.
