The strategic vectors of development of the country for the near future are going to be outlined in the Belarus President's state of the nation address on April 21. This political tradition in Belarus began two decades ago.

The CTV will offer you an extensive coverage of the event in its evening news release.

Attending the session in the Oval Hall of the Government House, where the President is going to speak, are senior officials of the country, members of the government, heads of state administration bodies, the largest of enterprises, representatives of the diplomatic corps and the media.

Before the speech, the CTV channel talked to some deputies.

Viktor Pinchuk, member of the Council of the Republic National Assembly of Belarus:
The Head of State clearly and firmly puts before the government issues related to economic growth. And, in fact, everyone has to know one thing: is there is a functioning economy, there will be increase the social level in our country. After all, our state is pursuing policy with social orientation. The entire gross domestic product should be directed to the resolution of public issues related to improving the lives of our people.

Dmitry Shevtsov, deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus:
My expectations is that the head of state will touch on the further development of the health sector: further improve the quality of care, further work on the development of high-tech methods of treatment and diagnostics. Medical tourism is also very important. We share our experience in this field abroad and a sufficient number of foreigners come to receive medical care in our country.

The address of the President will be broadcast live on the TV channel Belarus-1 and the First National Channel of Belarusian Radio. The broadcast from the Oval Hall of the Government House begins at 11.00 Belarus time.

The TV version of the address will be aired on Belarusian TV channels at 21:00 Belarusian time.
