Youth devoting lives to science is the wealth of the country. A meeting on how to support young scientists in their work, including at the legislative level, was held in Minsk on 19 April.

The topic brought together parliamentarians, prominent figures of science - in short, all those who could make the work of modern scientists more productive and more successful.

Today, every fifth researcher at the National Academy of Sciences is under the age of 29. The NASB is ready to accept 300 young people for master's and post-graduate programs each year. Much attention is paid to the academy staff rotation.

Nikolai Kazarovets, chairman of the Standing Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Social Development of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus:
The youth is able to think creatively and put forward ideas that can then be implemented in the economy. If you go back to the priority areas in 2016-2020, up to 65% are ultra-modern research from which the government expects results in technology, biotechnology and so on.
