Minsk, St. Petersburg sign agreement on drinking water quality

Management of water utilities in Minsk and St. Petersburg have agreed on new forms of cooperation. They signed an agreement in the field of drinking water quality.

This is a fruitful result of the Minsk Mayor’s instructions about the new points of contact. First of all, we are talking about switching to an automated system, the so-called online water supply. Experts already have some new ideas and developments.

The document also sets out plans to create the Water Academy to train staff, build a facility to recycle precipitation and exchange technical innovations. Russian colleagues drew on Minsk's experience of iron removal from underground water and aqua audit.
