Leading criminologists of Europe gather for forum in Minsk

Minsk has brought together leading criminologists of Europe to discuss the development of forensics, share experiences, and build bridges of international cooperation at the negotiating table.

The forum is being held today, February 4, and is featuring representatives of dozens of expert organizations.

It was not a coincidence that the Belarusian capital has been chosen as a discussion platform for this major forum. The event was originally planned to take place in London.

Several years ago, Belarus created a successfully operating State Forensic Examination Committee. It was established by a presidential decree in 2013.

During this time, tens of thousands of complex drug investigations have been carried out. The center uses advanced technologies, including computer and technical expertise, in order to investigate crimes in cyberspace.
