Alexander Lukashenko greets participants of the Bishops Council of the Russian Orthodox Church

President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenkom has sent greetings to the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill and the participants of the Council of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church in connection with the start of its work. 

The Head of State expressed confidence that the Bishops' Council will work out important decisions that will serve the high ideals of peace and stability.

It should be noted that the Bishops' Council is the supreme governing body of the Russian Orthodox Church. The previous council was held in Moscow in 2013.
