The Development Bank of Belarus will be actively involved in supporting the Belarusian export, said the Ministry of Economy, commenting on the new version of Directive No3.
According to the document, in 2020 the markets of the Eurasian Economic Union and the EU should account for an equal amount of domestic exports (33%), and the same number of goods and services should be exported to the markets of other countries, no matter how far they are.
In the energy sector, among the priorities will be a decrease in imports of natural gas by 5 billion m2 per year, and increasing the share of domestic energy resources in the total balance of the country up to 16%.
Dmitry Krutoi, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Belarus:
In the industrial complex, all the support will focus only on highly efficient projects that fall into the reduced list of public programs. But before one gets into the state program, all the support, even within the programs, will be provided only on a competitive basis, only through the Development Bank, and only under two conditions: the competitiveness of products (experts will give an appropriate conclusion) and if enterprise shows that costs are reduced by 20-25% as a result of this project.
