Indian company seeking Belarus' potash deliveries

An Indian company has signed a five-year memorandum on deliveries of Belarusian potash fertilizers. The countries will also expand the bilateral cooperation in the field of pharmaceuticals and energy. 

Among the priorities for 2016 is the creation of joint ventures, as well as the implementation of new projects on the use of alternative energy sources. Active cooperation will continue in the field of defense, engineering, science and business. 

In 2015, trade between Belarus and India amounted to about $400 million.

The desire of the government of India is to build up cooperation with Belarus. There are so many opportunities to expand and enhance the bilateral trade.

Today, January 26, India is celebrating Republic Day. The Belarusian head of state, Alexander Lukashenko, congratulated the President and the people of India on the holiday.
