Parade of planets to be seen from Belarus January 20

The parade of planets will be seen today, January 20, in Belarus. The five brightest planets visible to the naked eye will form a single line.

The unique phenomenon, which was last seen 10 years ago, can be observed during about 30 days. The only thing that can prevent you from seeing it is bad weather or deep sleep.

Viktor Malyshits, astronomer:
If an hour or two before sunrise you walk out and look at the eastern part of the sky, you will see Jupiter in the sky, then there will be Mars, then Saturn and low in the sky there will hang the very bright Venus. Especially fortunate or those know how to find stars even by feeble light, will find Mercury. Some planets can be mixed up with stars so it is advisable to look at the star map first, but Venus and Jupiter will be the brightest. They will be the brightest in the sky, you will certainly find them! And the rest of the planets differ from ordinary stars in the way that they do not twinkle or change colors.
