A combat readiness check continues in the Armed Forces of Belarus. The readiness and ability of formations and military units to carry out the task as intended is being inspected now.

A number of engineering troops divisions are to march for training missions in the Grodno region, where they will help build a bridge crossing over frozen water. Some people have been called up from reserves to improve their theoretical and practical skills in various subjects.

Oleg Belokonev, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces - First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus:
At the moment we are gathering people from Minsk and Minsk Region and also Gomel Region. This process will be increased. The complexity of this check is that both reservists and conscripts will act in coherence.
