Minsk Kristall gets certificate of compliance with international food safety standards

Minsk Kristall, Belarus' largest producer of alcoholic beverages, has received December 29 a certificate of compliance with international standards of food safety. Only 11 world manufacturers boast such a documentary evidence of quality.

A special commission tests every Kristall's product that is going to hit the shelves in the near future. The geography of exports will of course increase after such an award.

Stanislav Iodis, Minsk Kristall director general, says that the company is now aiming to find even more distributors for cooperation, especially in Western Europe, which welcomes quality goods. Among them are France, Belgium and Germany.

Belarusian alcoholic beverages are already quite popular in some countries of Europe, the USA and even in Africa.

Opened 123 years ago, Kristall is among the oldest enterprises in Belarus. The enterprise's capacity is 2 million liters per month, and each is under special control. The certificate received by the company is an evidence of the high quality and safety of its products.
