Belarus' Azarenka ends 2015 in 22nd spot in WTA ranking

The best Belarusian tennis player Victoria Azarenka has completed the year 2015 in 22nd place in the WTA ranking.

To date, Victoria Azarenka has 2,276 points.

Another Belarusian tennis player Olga Govortsova, is also in the top 100 having 851 points (71st place in the world ranking).

Alexandra Sasnovich has 610 points and 106th position. 17-year-old Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka last week won a tournament in India and is now in 385th place, jumping from 460th, with 94 points collected.

The 2015 WTA top ten is as follows:

The new tennis season will start next week with a competition in the Southern Hemisphere. Victoria Azarenka will take part in the tournament in Brisbane from 3 to 10 January, with a prize fund of $885,000 at stake. For the top female tennis players of the planet this competition will be one of the preparation stages for the first Grand Slam competition of the season - the Australian Open, which is due from 18 to 31 January in Melbourne. Victoria Azarenka won the Australian Open twice in a row - in 2012 and 2013.
